🔰 For First-Time Users

Toso Aibou (Painter's Partner) is a free tool for painting professionals. No sign-up and no app install required — it works right in your browser.

There are two main features:

Paint Guide: Check dilution ratios and application methods
Inventory & Tinting Tool: Manage your own paints and search for approximate colors

Below, the instructions are organized by situation.

1Check a dilution ratio

When you open a paint can on-site and think, "What was the dilution ratio for this paint again?" — this is the feature for you.

  1. Enter the product name in the search box on the top page
    (e.g., Ares Dynamic TOP)
  2. Press the "Search" button (or open the Paint Guide first, then type)
  3. The product card shows the dilution ratio, thinner, and number of coats
  4. Tap the card to see dilution ratios by method (brush / roller / airless) and, where available, a link to the official PDF
💡 Example situation When you're up on the scaffolding and the can's label is too dirty to read, you can check quickly on your phone without opening the maker's catalog.
🧮 A mix quick-chart + calculator are included Each product card shows a "Quick Chart" (mixes lined up to easy-to-weigh hardener amounts like 100 g, 200 g, and so on) next to a "Calculate It Yourself" tool (enter the amount of base and it works out the hardener and thinner). Whether you're good at math or not, either works.

2Manage your paint inventory

Keep a list of the paint cans in your warehouse or vehicle, all on your phone.

  1. Open the "Inventory & Tinting Tool"
  2. Enter the product name, color number, remaining amount, and so on, then register it
  3. Registered paints are saved on your device (inside this phone)
🔒 About privacy Inventory data is stored only on your device (in your browser's storage). It is not uploaded to the cloud, and the site operator cannot see its contents.

3Make an approximate color from stock

When you're told "Get me JPMA standard color N-25 (Nittoku) on-site," you can search whether one of your own paints can substitute for it.

  1. In the "Inventory & Tinting Tool," enter a JPMA (Nittoku) standard color number or a Munsell value
  2. From your registered stock, close paints are shown in order of smallest color difference (ΔE2000)
  3. If a paint with an exactly matching number exists, it is prioritized as a "Number Match"
  4. Combinations of tinting agents are suggested too
💡 When this helps Before buying new paint, check whether your stock can cover it. Cut waste and shorten the time to delivery.
